The 20th Central Avenue Jazz Festival Arts Pavilion
Los Angeles was once host to a thriving jazz scene that centered on Central Avenue, especially around the recently-revamped Dunbar Hotel that hosted Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Billie Holiday, Cab Calloway and Lena Horne. The Central Avenue Jazz Festival has been continuing that legacy each summer since the mid-1990s. This year Central Avenue Jazz Festival turns 20 and will be celebrating the only way we know how, BIG!
This year La Mancha Gallery has been asked once again to participate in organizing the Festival’s Arts Pavilion, where we will house the most impressive collective of artists in Los Angeles.
