20TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE CENTRAL AVENUE JAZZ FESTIVAL
La Mancha Gallery will be a proud sponsor and contributor to the Arts Pavilion at the Central Avenue Jazz Festival Anniversary

Pasadena, CA, July 8, 2015– Los Angeles has always been host to a thriving jazz scene centered on Central Avenue, especially around the recently-revamped Dunbar Hotel that hosted Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Billie Holiday, Cab Calloway and Lena Horne. The Central Avenue Jazz Festival has been continuing that legacy each summer since the mid-1990s. This year Central Avenue Jazz Festival turns 20 and will be celebrating the only way we know how, BIG!

La Mancha Gallery has once again agreed to manage The Central Avenue The Art Pavilion 30’x80′ foot tent that will house cutting-edge art from top artists in Los Angeles as well as live muralists and graffiti artists. Curated by Omar Holguin the selected artwork ranging from all sizes and mediums will include talented artists like Wendell Wiggins, Ron Zeno, Mohammed Mubarak, Philippe Previl, Oscar Magallanes, Kevin T. Williams, Neneki “Nick” McGee, Luis Genaro Garcia, Ngene Mwaura,  and many more …

Since its inception in 2006,  La Mancha has been an avenue and voice for intellectual and social activism in Los Angeles.
